Huntly Community Hub offers simple ways to connect, unwind, and feel part of something. Join a walking group, come along to our community dinners, or just drop in for a friendly cuppa and chat.

Bus Trips

Explore local landmarks, scenic spots, the best op shops, and more! Our bus trips offer a fantastic way to enjoy a day out while discovering the beauty and charm of our region. 

3rd Mon & Wed monthly 10am – 4pm

Cuppa & Chat

This is your perfect midweek pause, a chance to enjoy a warm cuppa and have a friendly chat in a relaxed environment. Whether you’re new to the area or a familiar face, everyone is welcome. 

Wednesdays 10am – 2pm

Cards & Games

From newbies to seasoned players, come along and enjoy a friendly game in a fun and relaxed environment. This is a great opportunity to meet people., or even teach us your favourite game!

Thursdays 10am – 12pm

Community Dinner

Hosted at Huntly Hotel, 592 Midland Hwy.  Get to know your neighbours over a meal and hear about local services and activities. Everyone is welcome. (Meals are at your own expense.)

Last Wednesday monthly 6pm – 7.30pm

Creative Art

Creative art and craft sessions with Shaz Herne to explore drawing, sketching, painting and all sorts of craft. Perfect for beginners and experienced.

Wed fortnightly Term 3 and 4 2026, 2pm – 4pm

Handcraft

For beginners and experienced crafters who enjoy spinning, knitting, crochet, embroidery, quilting, or card making, there’s always something inspiring to create. 

Mondays 10am – 2pm

Peer Support Group

Late To The Autie is a weekly neurodivergent peer support group for adults to share experiences and practical strategies in a social setting with like minded people.

Thursdays 1pm – 3pm

Scrapbooking & Papercraft

For beginners and experienced crafters who love to scrapbook, create cards, junk journal and more. Stay as little or as long as you like. We have tools and some papers available to get you started.

1st & 3rd Sunday monthly 10am – 5pm

Spinning & Weaving

For beginners and experienced fibre artists, our group offers guidance to learn new techniques and build your skills, and enjoy the calming rhythm of working with fibre alongside others.

Fridays 10am – 2pm

Sustainable Sewing

All-abilities sewing group where you can mend, alter or repurpose items. Learn new skills, share your own and help reduce textile waste. Basic tools and materials provided.

Last Sunday monthly 10am – 12pm

Walking Groups

For all fitness levels to get moving, explore the local area, and connect with others in the community. Boosts your physical health, unwind, enjoy nature, and make new friends.

Membership

Get Involved. Become a Member

For a small fee of $5 per year, you can be a member of the Huntly Community Hub.

As a member, you will receive the following:

  • News updates and early advice about courses and activities
  • An opportunity to help shape HCH programs and strategic positioning
  • Eligibility to nominate for and elect members of the Committee of Management
  • Voting rights at Annual General and Special General meetings.

You don’t need to be a member to take advantage of our services or activities but your membership fee will be gratefully received.
