Volunteering at the Huntly Community Hub is a rewarding way to give back to your community, connect with others, and help make a difference.
Types of Volunteer Roles
There’s nothing better than having fun all day, helping people, and making a difference. We have a variety of roles that suit different skills and interests, from assisting with events to providing support for our ongoing programs and services.
Administration Support
Assisting with office tasks such as typing, data entry, filing, and research.
Program Assistance
Supporting the delivery of social, educational, and recreational activities.
Community Pantry Assistance
Helping with the management of donations and pantry resources.
Maintenance Assistance
Various roles helping with cleaning, or gardening, etc.
Community Outreach
Engaging with local residents and promoting the Hub’s services and events.

Community Event Support
Helping with setup, registration, and on-the-day support for events.
Visitor Assistance
Greet visitors and answer questions in a welcoming & inclusive environment.
Transport Support
Driving bus for community trips and tours, contributing to a enjoyable journey.

Share practical skills in arts, crafts, fitness, health, cooking, technology etc.
Membership
Get Involved. Become a Member
For a small fee of $5 per year, you can be a member of the Huntly Community Hub.
As a member, you will receive the following:
- News updates and early advice about courses and activities
- An opportunity to help shape HCH programs and strategic positioning
- Eligibility to nominate for and elect members of the Committee of Management
- Voting rights at Annual General and Special General meetings.
You don’t need to be a member to take advantage of our services or activities but your membership fee will be gratefully received.
